We are delighted to be able to open ticket sales for WordCamp Whitley Bay. Getting this WordCamp together has been a bit of a whirlwind… it started as a bit of a random “what if….?” and then it became “okay but when….” and now we have a date – 18th September (a quick turnaround in the hope we might get a bit of the end of summer weather before the long grey north-east winter) – and you can buy tickets.
There are only 120 tickets available, which includes speakers, sponsors, and volunteers so grab them while they are available. WordCamp Whitley Bay is a single-track, one day event.
I’ll be sharing more info over the next week or so to confirm our great speaker line-up, and to write a bit about the experience of throwing together a last minute, small scale, backyard WordCamp. I can’t wait to welcome you all to my beautiful hometown.
